they didn't try very hard, did they.

went to the lincoln center tree lighting and festival today. the food was lovely, the bands nice (some odd...) but the tree was nothing short of tragic. while i try to stay out of the gutter, think of the shape of a gents, um, thing: same size shaft, blunt top that curves. well, picture that as a christmas tree with mono-chromatic lights this bizarre blue-white color. oh, and there was a hunk taken out toward the bottom. the designer is clearly an alcoholic.

thankfully, i'm pretty sure that my tax dollars didn't pay for it. that's something, at least.

it's terrible. you simply MUST go see it.
