than, well, i've done from 930(ish) - 515. (not quite how the old army commercials went.)
had a successful bout of laundry... he didn't complain this week, like last week, that i put too much soap in and the pressure release released the suds bla bla bla all over the place bla bla bla in broken korean. got two dryers (for three loads, hell i fight wars, not battles) and my clothes were dry-ish for the ride home, and managed to throw a trip to the barber in there (i HATEEEEEE the 'baby' scent in 'baby' powder. HATE. IT.) and look right cute says i. he went a little crazy, but what the hell. hair grows back, and mine more quickly than most. (the italian hair gene, i suppose. the one that is taking it from my head and putting it on my back. that one.)
quickly headed to lord and taylor to check a sale and see if my 'additional 20% coupon for [me] or a loved one' would be worth my time. nope. hit a few other stores on the way back just to see what's current. all in all, a busy evening. very cerebral. i've not shopped in the last year as much as i've shopped today... took an hour to 'visit a vendor' which is code for, 'go with a friend from work to crate and barrel, hugo boss, bergdorf, geox, and the new abercrombie nightclub.' i hate shopping, but today it felt like the right way to decompress, both at work and at home.
i did get, however, my delicious little pay tag thingy for my keychain from citibank. i was soo jizzed up about it until i realized that the places that take it, and that i frequent, require their own little discount cards that live in, yep, my wallet. so while i can use the paytagthingy at cvs, my 'extra value rewards!' card is in my wallet. grrreat. didn't really cut a step out, huh. hmmm. but it's cute and though it's bigger than both my keys AND my keychain, i'm going to give it a shot. what the hell.
busy weekend en queue... one of the highlights includes going to a genuine breeder wedding on saturday in both staten island AND new jersey (check and check!) so there will tons to report on that one, kids. stay tuned. venus de milo ice sculpture and three different kinds of caviar? i sure hope so!
