the sweet smell of... gas?

for the love of god... there is CLEARLY a gas issue in this building, and there has been for months. my apartment is directly over the boiler, and whenever the heat is wonky or the hot water is iffy, my apartment stinks of gas. this is newish, never had it before in the six years i've been here, but it's the case. so. here is my proposal... this smell keeps up tomorrow and i call my useless 'super' out of respect. then the management company and 311 within the same hour. sure, it's not that bad, but it's still a gas leak.
